Terms of Issuance

These Terms apply to every Certificate of Acknowledgment requested from Maison Proof ("the House"). The Certificate is a personalised digital document of graphic design, made to order by the House. It records a declaration; it does not certify any fact, quality, qualification or right. Version 17 October 2026, in force for requests submitted from that date.

1. The House and these Terms

The House is operated by MP-Dizajn (see Seller information). These Terms apply between the House and the person who requests a Certificate ("you"). A copy is sent to you with your proforma invoice.

2. What the House issues

• A Certificate of Acknowledgment is a formal, symbolic declaration in your words, addressed to a person you name.
• It is issued as a digital document (PDF) and recorded in the Register of the House at maisonproof.com/r/.
• It has no legal, financial or proprietary effect. It transfers no right, title or value to anyone.
• Editions and prices: Bronze €10,000, Silver €25,000, Gold €50,000, Platinum €100,000. Prices are final. VAT is not charged, as the seller is not registered for VAT.

3. Your request

• You request a Certificate through the form at maisonproof.com. A request is not yet an order; the House reviews every request.
• The House may decline a request, in particular where the text is unlawful, defamatory or infringes another person's rights.
• You are responsible for the text and for the recipient details you provide, and you confirm that you may share them with the House.

4. Proforma invoice and payment

• If the House accepts your request, it sends you a proforma invoice by email. The contract is concluded when you receive it.
• Payment is by bank transfer only, in euro, with all charges borne by you (OUR), quoting the reference on the proforma invoice.
• If payment is not received within 14 days, the House may withdraw the reservation. The Register entry then shows "Withdrawn".
• After your payment is received, you receive a fiscalised invoice by email.

5. Issuance and delivery

• The House issues the Certificate within 5 working days after your payment is credited.
• In your request you choose whether the House delivers the Certificate to the recipient by email or you present it yourself. You always receive it as well.
• A Certificate for the occasion In Memoriam is sent to you only.
• The House cannot guarantee that a recipient opens, reads or accepts a message.

6. The Register

• Each issued Certificate has an entry at maisonproof.com/r/, reached through the mark printed on the Certificate.
• The serial alone, entered at maisonproof.com/r/, confirms that the House holds an issued Certificate, with its occasion, edition and date of issue, and shows no names or text.
• What the entry shows depends on the disclosure you choose:
  • Public: you as the declarant, the recipient's initials and your text.
  • Anonymous: as Public, without your name.
  • Private: that the Certificate exists, with its occasion, edition and date of issue, without names or text.
• Every entry shows the edition of the Certificate, but never an amount.
• Entries are kept permanently. Personal data in an entry can be removed or anonymised on a valid request (see Privacy Notice).

7. Your right of withdrawal

• If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the contract being concluded, without giving a reason.
• In your request you ask the House to issue the Certificate as soon as payment is received, within the withdrawal period. You also acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the Certificate is issued.
• The House confirms your request and acknowledgment in the email with your proforma invoice.
• Before issuance, you may withdraw by telling the House clearly, for example by email to info@maisonproof.com. You may use the model withdrawal form, but you do not have to.
• Once the Certificate is issued, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.

8. Refunds

• If you withdraw before issuance, or the House cancels a paid reservation, the House refunds everything you paid within 14 days.
• The refund is made by bank transfer to the account the payment came from, at no cost to you.

9. Cancellation by the House

The House may cancel a reservation before issuance if the request breaches section 3 or payment does not arrive in time. Any amount already paid is refunded in full.

10. Complaints

Send complaints to info@maisonproof.com or by post to the address in Seller information. The House replies in writing within 15 days. If it cannot be resolved, you may turn to the consumer protection authorities or an out-of-court dispute resolution body.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. The House is not responsible for how a recipient responds to a Certificate.

12. Rights in the Certificate

The design of the Certificate and of the Register belongs to the House. You allow the House to reproduce your text in the Certificate and, as your disclosure choice permits, in the Register.

13. Governing law

Croatian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
